Project for (14) shop windows
On the occasion of the festival » Beriniak / shop windows » I photographed silhouettes of people , who, take snuff through an opaque window, remain vague. Photos, printed on a self-adhesive paper, were installed on the shop windows of St Pée sur nivelle’s village.
It is a question of questioning relationships between insides and outsides, between the human being and the architecture, between the human being and his fellow men.
So placing the passers-by in situation of inside, it is them at whom the photographed characters look.
As if finally it was since the inside of the shop window that things were observed.
While playing on the nature of the shop window, which acts as a mirror according to the light, also sending back the image of the passers-by.
Live with the others and our reflection, our look confronted with regard to the other one.
